The Center’s Global Health director, Dr. Jason Rosenfeld, and his sons Mr. Anders and Mr. Corbin invite you to join a musical challenge! Create a new handwashing song that lasts 20-40 seconds. After all, how many times can we all sing Happy Birthday to ourselves? Jason, Corbin and Anders–heretofore known as The Rosenfeld Boyz–have you covered!
As a pediatrician, I heartily endorse getting your kids involved in this Song Challenge. Giving kids an important job to do–like handwashing and teaching others about handwashing–helps them feel included and safe. We ALL have a role in stopping the spread of COVID-19.
Here is the Rosenfeld Boyz’ description from the CMHE Global Health facebook page:
“This is the official launch of the Global Hand Washing song challenge brought to you by the Rosenfeld Boyz and your Pandemic Pals (#panpals) at the Center for Medical Humanities & Ethics, GlobalCMHE and Community Service Learning (CSL) at Center for Medical Humanities & Ethics.
Create your own reboot of a popular song with hand washing lyrics that is between 20 and 40 seconds and then post on Facebook, Twitter, Instagram and/or YouTube. Tag #covidprevention #panpals #flattenthecurve #handwashingsongchallenge. Let’s see what you’ve got!
